Bar cutting
Integrated concepts for bending and cutting reinforcing steel are equally important for steel traders, bending companies and precast concrete plants. What counts is not only high cutting capacities, but also flexibility and the correct logistical solution. Automated solutions are becoming increasingly important.
PEDAX offers both mobile bar cutting systems, which move transversely in front of a rebar storage and make frequent diameter changes possible, and stationary rebar cutting systems, which have a modular design and are particularly recommended for high tonnages and a lower variety of diameters. The integration of the various processing stations plays a decisive role, which means that the entire material logistics must be considered, from the material feed to the shear, the onward transportation after the cut and to downstream bending stations, to storage systems and further processing of the bars.
Bar cutting
METAX GXE / GXN
Mobile rebar cutting system with unbeatable measuring and feeding system. The mobile rebar cutter travels on rails transversely in front of a material store, which allows access to a large stock of a wide range of material diameters and lengths. The machine works without stops, thus guaranteeing great flexibility, fast acceleration and exact cutting lengths over the entire measuring range.
Maximum measuring and conveying speed is 200m/min.
Metax is available as GXE model with two or three conveyors and as Metax GXN with an additional positioning and distribution conveyor for optimum material flow.
The cutting system is designed for processing bars from Ø 8 mm (#2) to Ø 40 mm (#11), even Ø 50 mm (#14) possible as an option.

Bar cutting
Combiline
Modular concept of high speed automatic rebar cutting and bending line, designed for a performance of up to 40 t per 8 hour shift.
Combiline consists of : a crosswise moving rebar store, a cutting system with pull-in feeding and measuring system without stops and with a rotating channel for high speed discharge of cut bars immediately after the cutting stroke to the left or to the right, a hydraulic shear and a positioning tracks for cut bars.
The interfacing of double-bending plants, collecting systems, single bending lines or automatic pocket systems/chain conveyors, makes the system almost unlimited in flexibility and capacity.
The 150 mm wide shear is designed to cut bars from Ø 8 mm (#2) to Ø 40 mm (#11), even Ø 50 mm (#14) possible as an option.

Bar cutting
Shearline
Stationary cutting system that convinces with its robust design, high output and very easy operation. The modular design makes it possible to create just the right concept in line with the required output and available floor space. Shearlines are particularly suitable working smaller and medium order batches, in all bar diameters, using limited floor space.
The cutting system is available in the sizes 120, 150 and 300, all comprising: material storage racks, an in-feed conveyor, a hydraulic shear, a measuring conveyor with automatically movable length stop as well as a transfer system to one side, material collecting pockets.
The 120 and 150 models are designed to cut bars from Ø 8 mm (#2) to Ø 45 mm (#11), Shearline 300 can even cut 2 bars of Ø 55 mm.

Bar cutting
CADORMATIC
Integrated, stationary heavy duty cutting system to cut, optimize and handle rebar, especially for high tonnages and large diameters. Cadormatic cutting systems offer a high degree of automation. They are available with 300 and 500 mm cutting widths. Bars are transported at high speeds of 2m/sec .
The concept has a modular design and consists of the following standard components: infeed storage rack, infeed conveyor, a hydraulically powered guillotine shear, shearing and measuring table, collecting pockets and a controller. In order to increase their capacity, Cadormatic can be expanded with additional conveyors, various transfer systems and benders.
Cadormatic shear lines can be fitted with full automatic loading systems, Autender M / M+, which features magnetic loading of bars, laser counting and full automatic integration of down steam processing lines.
Cadormatic shearlines are capable of processing diameters from 8 mm (#3) to 55 mm (#18).
