Mesh cutting and bending
Rebar meshes, also known as reinforcement grids, reinforce the structural integrity of concrete elements such as beams, columns, slabs, and foundations. Their application has become indispensable in modern construction practices.
PEDAX offers cutting and bending machines for rebar meshes and the contributing equipment to transport and ease the handling of these meshes.
All machines are available in the working widths 2.500, 3.000 and 6.000 mm.

Mafix ms
Powerful and stable Mafix guillotine shear for the fast and economical cutting of reinforcing meshes, available in the working widths 2.500 mm, 3.000 mm, 6.000 mm and 6.500 mm. Mafix MS is equipped with accurate guide plates for the blade bar and high-quality blades which can be used on 2 sides. Stable spring-loaded hydraulic clamps over the entire working width ensure a clean cut of the material.
Protective grids on both sides of the shear and a mesh support table at the backside of the machine ensure a high level of safety.
The additional handling components Mafix A and Mafix Z complement the shear to make it an all-round efficient processing centre and facilitate mesh feeding and deposition quite significantly after the cut.

Mesh processing
Mafix ks
Robust and powerful low cost shear for reinforcing meshes, available in the working widths 2.500 mm, 3.000 mm and 6.000 mm. The machine has an electromechanical drive and is equipped with a mobile cutting head and a strong hold-down clamp for secure tensioning of the mesh. Easy operation via a safety hand switch. Safety grids on both sides, a protective chain on the material drop side, an emergency stop button and material pull hooks ensure safe working.
Very maintenance friendly.

Mesh processing
Mafix mbm
Reinforced, high-capacity mesh bending machine, available in three cutting widths: 2.500 mm, 3.000 mm and 6.000 mm. Equipped with two strong gear motors and a reinforced bending beam. The bending cams can be infinitely and easily adjusted within the bending cam rail via quick release. Stepless adjustment of 3 bending angles up to 180° possible. Further bending angle presettings are possible by means of adjustment levers. Fine correction of the bending angles is done via potentiometer.
Mafix MBM can be optionally delivered with a programmable angle preselection and with combined angle and length preselection. The options contain a preselection of 8 storable bending angles, preselection of storable bending lengths up to 2.005 mm as well as the preselection of 150 storable cages.

Mafix a/ mafix z
Mafix Z is a mesh storage and feeding system for Mafix MS guillotines shears. It is designed for meshes of up to L 6 m x W 2.40 m contains a lifting device that brings the mesh stacks to working height. The heavy rebar meshes are separated over a roller bed and driven to the shear.
The Mafix A facilitates the mesh handling after the cut and consists of a measuring device as well as a deposition system that opens itself after the cut.
Options like scissor lifting tables and transport conveyors make material handling even easier and can be offered in addition.
